Oregon’s women were fifth, and Oregon’s men 14th at the 2024 NCAA Cross-Country Championships ran at Madison, WI on Saturday, Nov. 23rd. The Ducks tallied 210-points. BYU won with 147. Silan Ayyildiz led Oregon individually, finishing in 13th overall (1948.2) on the 6K course. BYU also won the men’s team championship with 124-points. Oregon scored 387. Aiden Smith led the Duck men in 29th (29:20.9) on the 10K course.

Oregon State won the battle of two in the remaining Pac-12 Conference, Saturday, Reser Stadium, Corvallis. After ten teams abandoned the Pac-12, only Oregon State and Washington State were left in the “Conference of Champions.” This year’s crown, albeit it could have an asterisk by it in future sports history annuals, went to OSU with a 41-38 win over the Cougars. Oregon State (5-6) has one game remaining in the regular season, Friday, Nov. 29, 9 a.m., at Boise State, televised by FOX. The Beavers need a win over the Broncos (10-1) to become bowl eligible.

Oregon State’s men’s soccer team was bounced out of the NCAA Tournament, Thursday, Nov. 21st, 1-0 at Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, NC. The Beavers finishes 10-5-3 overall.

Oregon State’s wrestling team finished second (130.5-pts) at the Navy Classic, Annapolis, MD. Saturday. The Beavers head to the Cliff Keen Invited, Las Vegas, NV, Dec. 6th. In individual competition, Trey Munoz – ranked seventh nationally – took the 197 lb. championship while 10 others – Maximo Renteria (125 – 2nd), Chase DeBlaere (133 – 5th), Nash Singleton (141 – 4th), Ayden Garver (149 – 3rd), McKinley Robbins (149 – 4th), Ethan Stiles (157 – 2nd), Sean Harman (174 – 6th), TJ McDonnell (184 – 3rd), Brett Mower (HWT – 3rd) and Charley Hastriter (HWT – 4th) – all turned in top-six finishes.

Oregon State’s women’s basketball team is in Nassau, Bahamas to participate in the Continental Tire ah Mar Championship beginning Monday, Nov. 25, 4:30 p.m., against Connecticut. Televised on FloCollege.

Two matches to go in the WCC regular season for Oregon State’s volleyball team following a match Friday, at home to Washington State. OSU won 3-1. The Beavers (8-8. 10-16) play at Loyola Marymount, Los Angeles, CA, Wednesday, Nov. 27.

With two matches remaining in the regular season, Oregon’s volleyball team downed Michigan, 3-0, at Ann Arbor, MI Saturday. The Ducks (13-5, 21-6) host Purdue on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 7:30 p.m., televised on the Big Ten Network.
