On October 8th, at about 9:45 pm, a keen eyed patrol officer saw a vehicle which he recognized to be related to an unsolved theft case in the Tanasbourne area of Hillsboro. The officer also saw the occupants of the vehicle matched the descriptions of the suspects from the prior theft and initiated a traffic stop. The officer developed probable cause to arrest the two occupants for Theft in the Second Degree. Further investigation showed the male occupant was in violation of his probation stipulations as well.
