MYSTERY AT MINGUS PARK CABIN
The Adopt A Park Pilot Program purchased new signs to go over the doors that are not exits in the Mingus Park Community Building-Historic WPA Scout Cabin. This is part of the on-going safety and stabilization work that was started in 2023.
As park host, Mike McLarrin, and volunteer, CoCo Sutton, were carefully removing the old paper signs, they discovered this fun leather piece that was put on the log wall sometime in the past behind one of the old signs.
The leather features the phrase “If you can find it…we have it”’ flanked by a round logo and the letter “M”. If you have any ideas about what this could be, please share with [email protected].
Meanwhile, the new signs are posted, and the little leather tag is staying in place above one of the “Not an Exit” doors!
