The City of Hillsboro is aware of an issue where payments made to the City may appear as “HiLight” rather than “City of Hillsboro” in the short description on a customer payment statement.

  • This issue seems to be isolated to one bank.
  • The City is working with the bank in question to resolve the naming issue.
  • If you have experienced this issue, please contact the customer service number on the back of your bank card and report the error.

City staff can confirm that your payment was applied to the correct account. Please contact the City department or team that you made the payment to and staff can verify your payment.

Not sure what department or team you're looking for? Visit our citywide Contact Us webpage to find a department directory.
