Eight years ago, K9 Rocket began his career with the Hillsboro Police Department. Today, we celebrate his retirement.

Alongside his handler, Officer Scott Brennan, Rocket spent those years protecting this community, backing up fellow officers, and winning over just about everyone he met, from the families at his public demonstrations to the fans who cheered him on at Hops games.

This one is for him.

Thank you for your service, Rocket. Enjoy retirement. You have more than earned it.
