EMT’s arrived and discovered the driver and sole occupant, deceased. The driver was identified as 51-year-old Daniel Keith Johnsgard of Eugene. Deputies investigated the crash scene. Johnsgard’s vehicle traveled a significant distance off the road and impacted several trees. Based on the initial investigation, it appears speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
