Description
Yes! See you there.
Let’s try this again! 😅 We’ve changed the date of the Black History Walking Tour to October 27th to avoid the crowds during Albany’s Downtown Trick or Treat this year. Now, you can attend both!
For the first time, Albany’s Black history will be brought to life through a walking tour in partnership with @oregonblackpioneers. This isn’t just a tour—it’s a powerful journey through the often-overlooked stories of resilience, community, and Black leadership that have shaped our city.
Join us on Sunday, October 27th, for a guided walk that highlights the hidden history of Black pioneers, businesses, and change-makers in Albany.
🗓 When: October 27th, 10 AM - 12 PM
📍 Where: Starting and ending at Monteith Riverpark
🎟️ Cost: $17 per person
💻 Reserve your spot: kc-albanytour.eventbrite.com
Let’s honor the past, elevate the stories that deserve to be told, and build stronger community connections. This is your chance to connect with history in a meaningful way—don’t miss out!
