On Sunday at 1:40 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from 8 p.m. until Tuesday 10 a.m. for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.
"Heavy snow expected above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations up to 20 inches," describes the weather service. "Snow totals between 3000 and 4000 feet of 4 to 10 inches possible."
