A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 12:26 p.m. valid between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. for Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
"Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected," explains the weather service. "Winds will be strongest over the ridges."
