Description
In July 2023, our lives were shattered at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center after the tragic loss of beloved security officer Bobby Smallwood. As health care workers, administrators, volunteers and security officers, our job is to keep those walking through our doors safe and healthy. Ever since Bobby was murdered while protecting us, I have feared for my safety and the safety of my colleagues and patients. Passing legislation to ensure others don’t suffer as we did and grieve as we do would honor Bobby Smallwood’s memory.
