What an amazing finish to the Pacific Railcar Operators (PRO) Teddy Bear Toy Express.  44 Speeders along with 103 riders and operators made their way along the Port of Coos Bay / Coos Bay Rail Line to kick off the 22nd Annual Bus Jam Toy and Food Drive. The group has been organizing the toy drive at stops along the route for over 5 years.   
  
A host of volunteers including the Coos Bay Fire Department, City of North Bend, Umpqua Bank, Northwest Comm. Credit Union, NW Natural, North Bend High School, and PCR volunteers unloaded the toys that will be stored until they are loaded on the busses for the toy and food drive December 7th.   
  
A very special thanks to Steve Ryan of BlueSky Digital Studios for giving his time and catching these beautiful images of these vintage rail cars that have been saved from the scrap yards and are now doing good works, touching hearts in Coos and western Douglas Counties.   
  
PCR is a member of the 1400 member of the North America Rail Car Operator Association (NARCOA)that is dedicated to preservation and safe, legal operation of railroad equipment historically used for maintenance of way.
