The U.S. Postal Service will on Sept. 25 issue stamps commemorating the art and life of Linda McCartney (1941–1998), a photographer and animal rights activist.

The U.S. Postal Service has announced plans to issue stamps featuring photographs taken by Linda McCartney, who was married to Beatles musician Paul McCartney until her death in 1998 at age 56.
