UPCOMING LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING IN HILLSBORO on Dec 23 and 30th, law enforcement and fire departments will conduct a live-action simulated active threat training at Glencoe High School. During this time, there will be an increased presence of police cars and fire engines.
Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team (TNT) is hosting the active threat training. TNT is an interagency, highly skilled, and well-equipped tactical unit that responds to extremely hazardous situations where conventional police tactics and equipment may be inadequate. Also known as SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), TNT is made up of Sheriff's Office deputies and police officers from the Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, and Tualatin Police Departments, and medics from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.
