Oregon’s men doused Liberty’s flame in the first few minutes of the NCAA Basketball Tournament at Seattle, WA, Friday. The Ducks raced out to an 18-2 lead and never looked back in an 81-52 win that propelled them into the second-round with an old Pac-12 foe, Arizona, Sunday. Against the Wildcats, Oregon went 12 of 22 from the foul line and lost 87-83. The Ducks finish 25-10.

OSU wbxb
Oregon State’s season of un-expectations came to an end Saturday at Chapel Hill, NC as No. 3 North Carolina sent OSU’s women home with a 70-49 NCAA Tournament win. The Beavers (19-16) really weren’t supposed to be there, but head coach Scott Rueck put together a team that made the “Big Dance,” after many players from last year’s NCAA Tournament team decided to abandoned the Corvallis university and head to different schools when the Pac-12 dissolved suddenly last year. That’s coaching!
