Tulelake Club: No Meeting? No Problem
District Governor Chris Waugh visited Tulelake on Wednesday, April 29th. The club meets at historic Mike & Wanda's Restaurant, but a scheduling mix-up meant this was not a meeting day. True to Rotary form, the club gathered half a dozen members to visit with the Governor anyway.
District Membership Cheerleader Kellie Hill has worked with clubs to name Membership Superstars. Whitney Cantrell was chosen for this club. She is the Treasurer and is expecting a baby in two weeks. Her sister, Angie, serves as club president.
Katie Walker, the club's grant guru, shared their focus on food-related challenges for youth and seniors.
The club's Livestock Auction raises thousands of dollars for community projects and scholarships.
The Tulelake Club welcomes visitors with open arms and home-style cooking. They invite all of District 5110 to come and visit.
