Traffic Alert: 2026 Oregon International Air Show Road Closures & Safety Notice The 2026 Oregon International Air Show is coming to town May 15–17! To ensure the safety of all spectators and community members, a sterile aerobatic box (an area that must remain clear of all people) will be enforced during flight demonstration hours. Road Closure Hours (Sterile Aerobatic Box Area): • Friday, May 15: 11:00 AM – 3:45 PM & 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Saturday & Sunday, May 16–17: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Areas Affected: • NE Brookwood Pkwy: No traffic between NE Airport Rd and NE Cornell Rd during closure times. NE Penny Way & NE “T” Hangars are restricted during closure times. Only Nike and Ochoco tenants with passes may access hangars. Roads to businesses on or west of NE Brookwood Pkwy from NE Dawson Creek to NE Airport Rd are restricted but not fully closed. QORVO’s south entrance on Penny Way will be closed during all sterile area hours. • NE 30th Ave & NE Sewell Rd on NE Evergreen Rd: Restricted to business tenants only. Hillsboro Aviation tenants are cleared to travel to business with the pass. The Hillsboro Airport side of NE Sewell Rd is closed to all traffic. Please refrain from flying drones. Unauthorized drone use violates federal regulations and compromises air safety by disrupting the sterile aerobatic box required for performances.
