These are your Rotary dollars at work making our community better. This is a grant that was made from the Coos Rotary Foundation through the club.

•••Sheriff Fabrizio and Deputy J. Lay Accept Check from Coos Bay/North Bend Rotary•••

On March 19th, 2024 Deputy Lay and Sheriff Fabrizio attended a check presentation from the Coos Bay / North Bend Rotary for the amount of $9,960.00.

This grant was written by Deputy Lay, who recognized the need for improved and modern safety equipment to handle combative Adults In Custody(AIC).

The Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be able to purchase equipment to safely handle some of the more dangerous situations inside the jail. This equipment will help greatly during high-risk incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office really appreciates the generosity and community support from the Rotary Club!
