THERE'S A BOOK CLUB FOR EVERY READER AT THE COOS BAY LIBRARY

Do you like to read and talk about what you read? Then consider joining a book club! The Coos Bay Public Library offers four book clubs to meet your needs. Two of our book clubs meet in person at the Library and two meet online (so you never have to leave the comfort of your own home!).

On the first Tuesday of every month from 5:45-6:45 p.m. the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Club meets online. Books are selected by the book club members and alternate between Science Fiction and Fantasy. On August 4 they will be discussing The Empress of Salt and Fortune by Nghi Vo. If this sounds interesting, register online at https://www.coosbaylibrary.org/event/copy-science-fiction-and-fantasy-book-club-17110
and the link to join up will be emailed to you!

On Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. come join the Book Brunch Book Club at the Library for food and drinks while discussing August’s book, The Starless Sea by Erin Morgnestern. No registration is needed for this in-person book club, just show up with an appetite ready to chat.

On August 20 the Unlimited Book Club will meet online from 6 -7 p.m. This book club is held in cooperation with the North Bend Public Library and celebrates diversity, inclusion, and understanding via literature. August’s book is The Color of Water by James McBride. Sign up for this book club https://www.coosbaylibrary.org/event/unlimited-book-club-19591 and the meeting link will be emailed to you!

Our last book club in August is a Spanish language book club.
¡Esperamos verte!
