Southwestern Oregon’s men’s soccer team (6-5-1) advances to the NWAC playoffs to take on Columbia Basin (13-1-1), Wednesday, Nov. 5, 11 a.m., Pasco, WA. The Laker volleyball team, with two matches remaining in the regular season, stands in fourth-place in NWAC South Region. SWOCC lost Friday at second-place Linn-Benton, Albany, 3-2, followed by a 3-2 loss at fifth-place Lane, Eugene, Saturday. Southwestern hosts eighth-place Umpqua, Monday, Nov. 3, 6 p.m., Prosper Hall, on the Coos Bay Campus.
