Busy, successful weekend for Southwestern Oregon’s softball team in NWAC play. The lakers beat visiting Chemeketa (Salem), 7-0 & 8-3 on Friday. Saturday, SWOCC traveled to Umpqua, at Winchester just north of Roseburg, and beat the Riverhawks, 13-4 (5) and 2-1. Southwestern (21-7, 32-8), in third place in the NWAC South, hosts Clark on Tuesday, May 5, 2 & 4p.
