Parents and advocates from Clark County Pride, an organization that aims to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth in Southwest Washington, attend a La Center School District board meeting on April 25, 2023 after the superintendent banned teachers from asking students their pronouns.

A Southwest Washington school district violated state policies by prohibiting teachers from asking students for their pronouns, a state agency ruled last week.
