The Trinity League’s fiercest rivalry renews Friday night when St. John Bosco (7-2, 3-1) travels to Santa Ana Stadium to face the Mater Dei Monarchs (7-2, 3-1) in a 7 p.m. kickoff with significant playoff seeding implications. Bosco and Santa Ana enter the contest mirror images of one another, having suffered identical losses to Santa Margarita (9-0, 4-0) and Bishop Gorman this season.
