🔍Did you know...
South Coast Development Council gives Pitchers more than a stage. Weeks before pitch night, each Pitcher is assigned a Coach — an experienced entrepreneur and business advisor from the region — to help them compete but also maximize the strategic benefits of learning the Art of the Pitch.
This and many more thanks are ahead for our five coaches: Tamara Bissell (last year's Curry Pitch Night Winner and owner of Pithitude), Gayle Goldstone (Southwestern SBDC Small Business Management Program instructor at SOUTHWESTERN Oregon Community College Curry Campus), Michelle Martin (The Ford Family Foundation), Kemberly Farrell-Todd (CCD Business), and Derek Tonn (Southwestern SBDC at Southwestern Oregon Community College Main Campus in Coos Bay).
⚖️Helping to advise Pitchers further by offering constructive feedback and awarding each Pitcher, we have a star-studded set of Judges for Pitch Night! All Judges also bring direct experience as an entrepreneur, and all are critical players in the region and states economic development efforts!
