Description
SEWER REPAIRS CAN BE COSTLY
Did you know? Homeowners are responsible for maintaining and repairing the water and sewer service lines that connect their homes to the City’s systems—and these costs are typically not covered by standard homeowners’ insurance or the City.
To help address this, the City of Coos Bay partners with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) to offer optional protection plans. These plans can help cover the cost and inconvenience of unexpected repairs, such as water service line leaks on your property.
Available coverage options include:
• Exterior Water Service Line
• Exterior Sewer/Septic Line
• Interior Plumbing and Drainage
Plans are available at affordable rates and can be billed monthly, quarterly, or annually through SLWA. Plan holders also have access to a 24/7 repair hotline, with work performed by local, licensed, and insured contractors.
Participation is completely voluntary, but these plans may be a good option for homeowners looking for added peace of mind.
