The Eugene Southtowne Rotary Club invites the community to attend the inaugural Rotary Sky Ball Classic, a unique, family-friendly fundraising event taking place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Springfield.
The highlight of the event features a helicopter dropping 1,000 numbered golf balls onto the course, with the ball landing closest to the pin winning one of several exciting Grand Prizes.
Our inaugural year’s prize lineup includes:
* A custom-designed pendant from Beaudet Jewelry, valued at approximately $3,500
* An electric bicycle from Eugene Electric Bicycle, valued at $2,000+
* A 3-night stay on the McKenzie River, including a 3-hour rafting trip for up to six people
Participants do not need to be present to win, making it easy for community members to support the cause while enjoying the excitement.
In addition to the Sky Ball drop, guests can enjoy a full evening of activities including:
* Kid-friendly games and outdoor activities
* An Italian buffet dinner
* Silent auction featuring local goods and experiences
* Dessert Dash and live program presentation
Golf balls are available for $25 each or 5 for $100, and dinner tickets are just $30, with children eating free.
Proceeds from the Rotary Sky Ball Classic will directly support Eugene Southtowne Rotary’s local initiatives, including:
* Scholarships for students and adults pursuing new careers
* Monthly food box programs for families in the Bethel School District and Head Start of Lane County
* Support for homeless youth through local partnerships
* Ongoing assistance to community organizations such as the Eugene Mission
