District Governor Chris Waugh continued his busy February 19th with a lunchtime visit to the Roseburg Rotary Club at the beautiful Umpqua Business Center.
President Fred Sabins and the Governor tackled club goals for 10 minutes before the meetingâthen it was time to meet members while lunch magically appeared (thanks to everyone's involvement!).
The club's Superstar Award went to Past President Sue Van VolkenburgâYouth Exchange rock star and perpetual membership asker! Other notable members honored: Amy Taylor (Holiday Village), Tabitha Layman (Festival of Lights), Tamy Turner (Club Secretary), and Carol Sabins (behind-the-scenes support).
The highlight? Exchange student Tino from Brazil updated the clubâhe's thriving in sports, enjoying his time, and debuting newly blond hair! đâď¸
In the foreground: President-Elect Nis Jessen, who joined Governor Waugh and AG Scott Hendy at PELS in Seattle that very weekend. Word is Nis declared it the BEST management meeting he's ever attended!
