Emergency crews and a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter respond to Seaside Beach, Ore., on Saturday, March 29, 2025, after a young girl was pulled into the ocean by a rip current. She was rescued and taken to Providence Seaside Hospital conscious and alert, officials said.

Wendi Monroe was spending the weekend with her fiancé at Seaside Beach and was heading down to the shore when she spotted several emergency vehicles on the sand.
