RPD release - On July 21st 2024, the Reedsport Police Department received a report of suspected theft/fraud of an elderly Reedsport resident at the hands of her “caregiver” identified as Tina Lynn Fulps (69). Following an extensive investigation spanning the better part of a year, the findings of this investigation were presented to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office and ultimately a Grand Jury who elected to indict Fulps on multiple felony charges. On April 4th 2025, a Douglas County Circuit Court Judge issued a warrant for the arrest of Fulps who was taken into custody at her place of employment on April 9th 2025. Fulps was transported to the Douglas County Jail where she was lodged on the following charges: Aggravated Theft in the First Degree (x2) - Felony; Criminal Mistreatment in the First Degree (x2) Felony; Fraudulent use of a Credit Card - Felony; Computer Crime - Felony; Fraudulently obtaining a signature - Misdemeanor.
