Description
A 4.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded near the southern end of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Tuesday, Sept. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. There was also a 4.2-magnitude quake in the Seattle Area. The USGS reports it was west to northwest of Wauna, WA.
