Final prep football games of the regular season Friday night, Oct. 31. In the 4A Special District 4: Henley (5-0, 6-2) wins the league championship with a 48-6 win at sixth-place Mazama (0-5, 1-8). Marshfield (4-1, 8-1) is second with a 41-15 win at third-place North Bend (3-2, 4-5). And, Hidden Valley (2-3, 2-6) takes fourth with a shootout win at fifth-place Ashland (1-4, 2-6), 58-55. In SD3: Junction City (4-1, 6-3) is the Champion after winning at second-place Marist Catholic (3-2, 4-5), 17-10. Cresent Valley (3-2, 5-4) & Philomath (3-2, 6-3) are tied with the Spartans. SD2: Cascade (4-0, 9-0) wins the league title with a 46-6 win at second-place Estacada (3-1, 6-3). North Coast – SD1: Scappoose (5-0, 8-1) is the league champ with a 40-0 win at sixth-place Gladstone/Riverdale (0-5, 0-7). Tillamook (4-1, 7-2) is second with a 25-12 win at third-place Seaside (3-2, 4-5). And, Astoria (2-3, 4-5) is fourth after winning at fifth-place St. Helens (1-4, 2-7), 42-0.

Final prep football games of the regular season, Friday night, Oct. 31 for the 3A teams. In SD4: Fourth-place Coquille (2-3, 4-5) fell at league champion Siuslaw (5-0, 7-2), 56-34. Second-place Douglas (4-1, 5-4) won at sixth-place Brookings-Harbor (0-5, 2-7), 35-14. And, third-place Sutherlin (3-2, 6-3) won at fifth-place So. Umpqua (1-4, 4-5), 40-33. Central Coast – SD2: Second-place Santiam Christian (6-1, 7-2) beat visiting third-place Taft (5-2, 6-3), 38-8 at Adair Village. League champion Dayton (7-0, 9-0) beat visiting sixth-place Amity 2-5, 3-6), 42-8. Sixth-place Newport (1-6, 1-8) lost at fifth-place Salem Academy (3-4, 3-5), 48-26. North Coast – SD1: Banks wins the league championship with a 42-7 win, Thursday night, over visiting third-place Warrenton (4-2, 5-3), 42-7. Kennedy (5-1, 6-2) finishes second with a 40-14 win Friday night over visiting fifth-place Valley Catholic (1-5, 4-5). Non-league – 2A Myrtle Pt. (3-1, 6-3), second-place in SD4, falls in a non-league game at 3A SD1 fourth-place Gervais, 36-0.

In SD4: Unbeaten Bandon (4-0, 8-0) is the league champs after downing visiting third-place Oakland (2-2, 4-4), 56-18. Myrtle Pt. (3-1, 6-3) finished second. Fourth-place Gold Beach (1-3, 5-4) won a shoot-out with visiting fifth-place Glide (0-4, 4-4), 62-60. Non-league: Reedsport, running an independent schedule this season, won at Jewell, 49-0. Brave won their final five games and finished 5-2 overall. Central Coast – SD3: Lowell (6-0, 8-1) wins the league title with a 50-6 pasting at sixth-place Central Linn (1-5, 1-7). Fifth-place Waldport (2-4, 2-7) won at seventh-place Oakridge (0-6, 1-7), 40-34. Third-place Toledo (4-2, 4-4) played Thursday night at second-place Harrisburg (5-1, 7-2) and lost 50-6. North Coast – SD1: Third-place Nestucca (4-2, 6-3) fell at first-place Clatskanie (6-0, 9-0), 18-6. Second-place Knappa (5-1, 7-1) wins a forfeit from seventh-place Vernonia (0-6, 0-9), 2-0. Fifth-place Neah-Kah-Nie (2-4, 2-6) beat visiting sixth-place Rainier (1-5, 3-6), 52-20.

In the final regular season 1A6-man prep football, third-place Powers (4-2, 5-4) lost at home to visiting second-place Crow (4-2, 6-2), 58-51. First-place Elkton (6-0, 7-1) won at seventh-place McKenzie, Blue River (0-6, 0-9), 40-6.

The prep football rankings for the OSAA froze on Saturday night, Nov. 1, setting up the First Round playoff matches, Friday, Nov. 7. In the 4A Classification: No. 2 seed Marshfield will host No. 15 Crescent Valley, 5:30 p.m. No. 1 seed Cascade will host No. 16 Pendleton/Nixyaawii, at Scio. No. 9 Stayton travels to No. 8 Junction City. No. 12 North Bend plays at No. 5 Tillamook. No. 13 Baker plays at No. 4 Scappoose. No. 14 Seaside is at No. 3 Henley. No. 11 Marist Catholic at No. 5 Estacada. No. 10 Sweet Home at No. 7 La Grande. The winner of the Marshfield-Crescent Valley game plays the Sweet Home-La Grande game in the quarter-final round, Saturday, Nov. 15. The winner of the North Bend-Tillamook games plays the winner of the Baker-Scappoose game, Saturday, Nov. 15.

The matchups are all set for the OSAA 3A State Football playoffs, Friday, Nov. 7. No. 16 Pleasant Hill plays vs. No. 1 Cascade Christian, Crater HS. No. 9 North Valley at No. 8 Sisters. No. 12 Gervais at No. 5 Siuslaw. No. 13 Douglas at No. 4 Dayton. No. 14 Phoenix at No. 3 Burns. No. 11 Warrenton at No. 6 Vale. No. 10 Santiam Christian at No. 7 Kennedy. And, No. 15 Sutherlin at No. 2 Banks. Quarter-finals are set for Nov. 15.
