For Medford Rogue Rotary, a weekend of pickleball translates into a year of service.

Our 6th Annual Rogue Rotary Pickleball Fest, presented by Lithia 4 Kids, returns August 28–30 at the new Rogue X Pickleball Complex in Medford. While the tournament brings together players for three days of competition and fun, its real impact happens long after the final point is scored.

Pickleball Fest is one of Medford Rogue Rotary’s signature fundraisers, providing critical resources that allow our club to invest in projects throughout Southern Oregon and beyond. The success of this event directly strengthens our ability to respond to community needs, support youth, and turn great ideas from our members into meaningful Rotary service.

Turning Pickleball Into Community Impact

Funds raised through Pickleball Fest help support a wide range of Medford Rogue Rotary projects and partnerships.

Our club has built more than 20 playgrounds throughout the Rogue Valley, supports mentoring and coaching through Kids Unlimited Basketball, provides food and essential supplies to more than 1,000 local students, participates in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and created the Tiger Den at Innovation Academy to provide students with clothing, snacks, and other necessities, to name just a few.

Tournament fundraising also helps make projects like Winter in Candyland possible. Launched in 2024, the free family event welcomed more than 3,000 people in its first year.

And the impact does not stop at our local borders. Strong fundraising gives our club greater flexibility to support World Community Service and other Rotary initiatives that extend our reach well beyond Southern Oregon.

That is what makes Pickleball Fest so important. We aren’t simply raising money for an event. We are raising the resources that allow Rotarians to serve.

A Signature Event With a Bigger Purpose

Pickleball Fest also gives us something that is harder to measure on a balance sheet: visibility.

Hundreds of players, families, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators get an opportunity to experience Rotary outside of a traditional club meeting. They see Rotarians working together, having fun, building partnerships, and investing in their community.

That combination of fundraising, fellowship, community engagement, and service is exactly why Pickleball Fest has become such an important part of our club.

There’s Still Time to Join Us

The 6th Annual Rogue Rotary Pickleball Fest takes place August 28–30, 2026, at Rogue X in Medford, Oregon, featuring Men’s, Women’s, Mixed and Singles competition with round-robin play and playoffs.

Rotarians from around the District are invited to join us. Register to play, volunteer for a shift, make a donation, or simply come by and see the tournament in action.

Because when the last pickleball is put away, the real work begins: turning the success of one weekend into another year of Service Above Self.
