ROTARY PEACE FELLOW’S PASSION FOR PEACE
This is not the ninth update on our District’s involvement with the Rotary Peace Fellowships Program, of whom there are over 1800 alumni. Rather it is an update of the first one we featured, Dan Odaba of Kenya.
Dan was featured in this month’s Rotary magazine on page 15 with the heading “Peace passion.” It describes his taking off his mask while suffering from Covid for an online ceremony to join Rotary.
His determination came from his fellowship at the Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn in Thailand sponsored by the RC if Medford.
Since then Dan has had a number of roles in his district, is president of his club, and has taught twice at the Rotary Peace Center at Makerere in Uganda.
We can be proud.
PS Remember to check out Rotary’s February magazine.
