Christopher Lee Pray, 39, treads water while stuck in the mud of Force Lake in North Portland on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023.

He’s already serving 22 years in state prison for a series of crimes, including a 2021 shooting in Portland that caused a driver to crash and die.
