Description

Oregon House Speaker Julie Fahey, a Democrat from Eugene, condemned acts of political violence following the assassination of Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband. Fahey and Hortman both served on the board of the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.

Some of Oregon’s top elected officials reacted with a mix of shock, anguish and frustration to the shootings of two Minnesota state lawmakers and their spouses.
