Description

On Tuesday, October 14th, I met these young Rotarians at 12:30 for their 45-minute meeting (squeezed in between classes.) Notice LeAnn Mobley, Bear Creek Valley Rotarian, third from the left.
President Bella Black (standing on the left) surprised new Rotarian Cassandra Moeller (Cassie) with an award for her consistency and involvement. Cassie even attended the RI Conference in Calgary in June! Rotaract Advisor and Ashland Rotarian, Melissa Anderson, beams with pride.
Don’t let the size of this club fool you! These Rotaractors are very interested in getting a grant to leverage their project! Now you know why I invited LeAnn – who better to explain the grant process, and its potential?
I had a surprise for the Club, too. They earned this recognition from Rotary International for their Achievement in Rotary Foundation Giving!
Before our brief time together ended, we discussed connecting the Rotaract Clubs in 5110 so they could support one another and utilize each other as resources. That’s what Rotary is all about.
