Description

On Wednesday, October 1st at noon, I visited this club. I was greeted by President George Prokop and several members. They have a dedicated TECH TEAM! Even if you don’t, you could copy their welcoming slideshow that features members and projects.
Their Rotary Foundation Chair, Greg Jones (pictured next to me,) asked that I help present a Major Donor Award to Mike Heverly and his wife Jane. Mike has been a Rotarian since 1980 and rejoined Medford Rogue in 1999. The Heverlys have given generously to The Rotary Foundation—more than $10,000! Their shared commitment as Major Donors shows just how much they believe in Rotary’s power to create lasting change. Major Donors receive a beautiful crystal recognition piece and a pin signifying their level of generosity.
World Community Service Co-Chair, Linda Brown, presented a program on the impact of their WCS projects. IPP Rachel Torres shared how one impacted her daughter. Linda then promoted three upcoming WCS travel projects – to Guatemala, Cozumel Island, and Guadalajara.
