Description

The evening before their Tuesday noon meeting, I was invited to a social/dinner at Co-President Heidi Proett’s home, with several of its members. We enjoyed minestrone, lasagna, garlic bread, and salad. And the company of fellow Rotarians!
Coos Bay-North Bend Club meets at the Ko-Kwel (previously Mill) Casino. The club has co-presidents: Amy Bailey and Heidi Proett. I got to present the club with an award from Rotary International for their Polio Plus contributions in 24-25. I also learned that they recently inducted 4 new members under 50! There was much discussion about their Cruz the Coos, Festival of Trees, and Wine Walk. December is a hectic month for this club.
