Description

I was especially lucky to be invited to the meeting of the Area Presidents at 5:30 that evening at Assistant Governor Tim Quinlan’s home. After everyone was served a refreshment, we settled into comfy chairs in the living room. This group conducts business as a President’s Council – complete with minutes, individual club reports, and discussion items. It’s great to see how area clubs collaborate.
Our beverages ran dry before the agenda was complete, so we moved the meeting to the dining room – where Gulbun, Tim’s wife, had prepared a spread for us to enjoy. I would call them “hearty appetizers” because they served as my dinner. Featured in this picture are three bottles of wine you might recognize – Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rose – all gifted to the District from Wooldridge Creek Winery in Grants Pass. The donation came through a non-profit called Case by Case – and we thank them for this generous donation!
