On October 8th, 2024 at about 3:30 pm, dispatch received a call regarding a suspicious male in the area of E Main Street and NE 16th Avenue. The caller reported the adult male had approached her 13 year old daughter, a few days earlier, and told her she was beautiful while following her until a nearby citizen intervened. The male was now in the area again. Officers contacted the suspicious male and discovered he had approached a second 13 year old girl and attempted to convince her to go home with him. The 67 year old male was arrested for Stalking and Luring a Minor.
