Description
On February 13, 2025, at 7:21 PM, HPD officers responded to a theft at Target on SE Tualatin Valley Hwy. It was reported that a group of individuals was concealing merchandise in and under personal bags. Officers arrived and contacted the group, which had split up, in the parking lot. Officers located one group with numerous backpacks and another group with a shopping cart full of merchandise. The stolen merchandise totaled $1086.
During their investigation officers learned that one of the individuals had a felony warrant for his arrest. Officers also located drug paraphernalia and what is believed to be methamphetamine.
The following individuals were charged as follows:
- Jacob Amsden (35) of Hillsboro – Theft in the first degree (felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft
- Jerry Buckhannon, Jr (45) of Forest Grove – Arrested for his Felony warrant, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft
- Terry Gentry (34) of Hillsboro – Theft in the first degree (Felony), and Conspiracy to Commit Theft
