On August 15th, shortly before 9 PM, Hillsboro Police officers responded to a theft from Famous Footwear on Evergreen Parkway. It was reported that two females stole a pair of shoes and walked out toward their vehicle. Responding officers quickly located and stopped the vehicle.

As officers conducted their investigation, they saw drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Officers eventually located two pairs of shoes taken from Famous Footwear and 5.6 grams of methamphetamine. Also, the temporary permit on the vehicle was forged.

Lynn Cunningham (69) was arrested and charged with Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Forgery in the first degree.

Deana Duncan (45) was arrested for six arrest warrants from four different counties, and was charged with Theft in the second degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance - methamphetamine, and Giving False Information to a Police Officer.

We are thankful for the continued partnership with retailers in our community which has repeatedly contributed to the arrests of wanted individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs.
