Four Missouri family members face felony charges after a 12-year-old girl with autism was confined to a dog cage for nearly two years.

Four Missouri family members have been arrested and charged with child and animal abuse after police say they found a 12-year-old girl with autism who had been sleeping in a dog cage for nearly two years.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deployed their electronic detection K9 Trinity, who is trained to help locate potential digital evidence. This investigation has led detectives to believe there may be more victims of additional crimes committed by Adams, so an image of Adams is attached.
