7/10/26 - LCSO Detectives with ICAC Task Force Make Arrest for Encouraging Child Sex Abuse    
  
On July 29th 2026, The Lane County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the possession of child sex abuse material (CSAM). During the investigation detectives identified the suspect as 52-year-old Jeremy Bo Adams.    
  
On August 10th 2026, LCSO detectives served a search warrant near the 100 block of W.17th Avenue in Eugene and contacted Adams. Investigators arrested Adams and lodged him at the Lane County Jail for the below listed charges.     
  
Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the First Degree (10 counts)    
  
Encouraging Child Sex Abuse in the Second Degree (10 counts)    
  
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Coburg Police Department, the Lane County District Attorney’s Office, and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with the investigation. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deployed their electronic detection K9 Trinity, who is trained to help locate potential digital evidence.    
  
This investigation has led detectives to believe there may be more victims of additional crimes committed by Adams, so an image of Adams is attached.
