Portland police said Tuesday that a semi-truck crash in downtown Portland that sent three people to the hospital and spilled grain across South Harbor Drive was likely caused by mechanical issues with the truck.

On July 28th at about 11pm, HPD officers received reports of a car crashing into a house near the intersection of SE Brookwood Avenue and SE Oakhurst Street. Officers responded and, with assistance from Hillsboro Fire & Rescue , made sure everyone was safe inside the home. Officers began a DUII investigation and arrested the driver, Christopher Quandee (27), for DUII. He provided a breath sample that showed his BAC to be 0.21%. Thankfully nobody was injured in this crash.
