Description

A Portland man was killed Saturday night when his motorcycle struck a van head-on after he attempted to pass in a no-passing zone on Highway 30 in Clatsop County.

Samuel Stephen Clutter, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, which occurred near milepost 90 and Timmerman Road just outside of Astoria, according to the Oregon State Police.
