Some City projects underway or starting in the coming months include:
-Front Street parking lot will be completed

-Several Pump Station improvements will be completed or started
Newmark Avenue/Wall Street building demolition (future parking lot)
-150th Birthday Celebration
-Movie series at the Third Street/Central Avenue parking lot
-Ongoing pothole patching
Private developer projects within the community continue along with potential for some housing projects to start phasing in:
-Commercial development adjacent to Ace Hardware
-Request for development proposal for vacant City lot at Fourth Street/Anderson Avenue
-Redevelopment of the site previous Ayers Building, recently torn down
-Housing site plan development for housing options on Bay Area Hospital property
-Housing development/planning progress at the Gloria Dei Lutheran vacant property, old Englewood School property, Lindy Lane large single-family housing development, and several smaller housing developments as in-fill throughout the City
I also wanted to mention that the bi-weekly community conversation session, Invitation from the Mayor, is cancelled for Wednesday, May 8. However, the next date is drafted on the calendar for May 22 at 11 a.m. in the Library.
