Description

The South Salem Saxons and the Sunset Apollos compete in a high school football game on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023 at Sunset High School.

Just as the second quarter was getting underway between North and South Salem to open week one of Oregon high school football, a bolt of lightning and the accompanying boom caused both teams to head to the locker room.
