Lattice makes programmable computer chips. It's the largest tech company based in Oregon, with a market value of $6.7 billion.

Lattice Semiconductor named veteran technology executive Ford Tamer as its new CEO on Monday. He replaces Jim Anderson, who quit in June to take a job with a much bigger company, Coherent Corp.
