You’re invited to “Las Lágrimas de Nosotros: The Salvadoran Civil War and Its Generational Effect After its Chaos” this Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 6 pm Pacific.
First-generation Mexican Salvadoran Sophia Olivares will be our guest speaker. Originally from LA, Olivares is a recent UO grad pursuing a career in law. Her research focuses on humanitarian issues in the U,S. and in Latin America, as well as the environmental crisis.
