The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is gearing up for TWO National Night Out events on Tuesday, August 5th! Creswell will host at Holt Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Veneta will host at Veneta City Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office will have a variety of emergency vehicles on display, as well as patrol K9 demonstrations, Posse horses, and Deputy Dunk Tanks! There will be good food, fun activities for kids, and exhibits from several community partners including local fire departments. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign to promote partnerships between our deputies and local communities to make our homes safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement with a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring deputies and neighbors together for a positive event.
